Boy or girl?

Cute gender-denoting signs on lavatory doors in restaurants may be fun, but they can also confuse. Quite often I find myself dithering as I try to decipher little pictures and titles, and here photographed is one such from a facility in Greece. It’s quite small in reality, and you have to pay careful attention to get it, especially if alcohol has been partaken of. I really don’t like having to linger outside public toilets like this while I focus and interpret. All I want is to get the business done.

I prefer the signs to just say "boys" or "girls" so I don't have to try to figure out if I'm going into the correct one. That is cute, though.

People are becoming too creative with regard to signs outside toilet facilities. There were occasions when I wait for a person to step out to make it doubly sure.

That would be frustrationg. We all have to "go," so there's really no sense in trying to hide that "little room."

Ah toilets. It's so easy to make a mistake going to the wrong bog here in Scotland. Yvonne went to one in Morrisons which clearly had a woman on the sign, but when Yvonne got inside she was greeted by a guy in a dress ........ Thank goodness the Supreme Court made the right decision.
