For over a year whenever Im board I go over to this kfc about 1 mile from my house and hold a one person protest,I'll hold a poster pass out leaflets and yell.
When I dont feel like protesting[or its raining] I'll go in the restrant and stcker the place. When they are open I stcke the bathroom and walls & when they are closed I sticker the front door and even the speaker where you order.
Today I was protesting[on public prop] and the manger came out and said that he is sick of my protesting them and hurting their biz.I said "if you use more humman treatments on the chickens and stop the animal cruelty I will stop protesting.
He said nothing but then said If I pay you $100 will stop protesting here?
Ofcorse I said no even though i could use the money. But I just laughed at him.
What a loser trying to pay me off.

Their chickens here in Australia come from the same place as where nearly all the chickens come from, why not protest at the actual chicken farms their the ones that need to be protested against....why is that people only seem to pick on McDonalds and KFC. Why not protest at supermarkets and the mums and dads that buy chicken why KFC....very few chickens, very few animals at all are really treated with quality of life.

I agree. The chicken farms are probably the best place to do the protesting. The manager and workers there are probably just doing the best they can to feed themselves and their family. They aren't involved in the actual treatment of the chickens until they're battered and fried.

i kind a like that phrase ah, anyway i understand you cause im a vegaetarian too but im not into making protest in such restaurant cause i know issues like this will not be solve with protesting. i think instead of making protest and shout along the road its better to educate the people of what are the benefits of being vegetarian and what is the true meaning of life. and in the end still its up to them how they will understand the information. lets accept it we cannot please everybody, eveyone have their own opinion and perception about the things around us.

LOL! It is a bit cheap that he only offered you $100 :P
But you are right - KFC should stop inhumane treatment of animals! But as with any huge changes - it takes a small army.
It's almost cool in a way that he offered to pay you off - it must mean that your protesting is having some kind of impact... So what if you aren't changing the business practice of a huge multi billion dollar corporation - you are inspiring people to choose another place to buy their dinner..
And that's a damn good start!

just remember KFC or any other resturant doesnt grow or raise the Meat that they serve. they buy it from a supplier. that supplier is probably a slauter house.
if you dont know what a slauter house is, it is where the live animal is taken to be killed and then butchered up for delivery to their buyers.

I personally think your protesting the wrong people. chickens are food, and if the prep of the food a resturant is bad then of course protest there the resturant your protesting at has nothing to do with the slauter or handling of the chickens. Are you going to protest a steak house because the slauter house is crule to the animal before it is slautered if you say yes then protest the grocery store that sells it also. your protesting the wrong people!!!!!

That is true. It is all part of the natural food chain.
However, I do believe the farms and slaughter houses should use more humane methods. Cruelty is not necessary.

doesnt this violate some of your local laws to just go into an establishment and sticker the walls and stuff? maybe you should join some sort of committee that can help you with your protest with out distructing other peoples property

I completely support anyone's right to protest any cause they feel is worthy, but your method sounds, well, a little weak. I mean, "when you're bored"? Stickers? If it's a cause that you are truly passionate about and you are true to your convictions, I'd think that a more proactive/public demonstration of your beliefs would be more appropriate-this just seems to be a waste of time, and sounds a little juvenile. Attacking the "end product" gets people no where-you have to start a little higher up to gain the support and recognition you desire. No one will take you or your cause seriously when you appear to be doing it just for the sake of causing a disturbance.

you should be protesting a meat packaging places, not fast food chains, it is not their call on what to do, it has to do with their head offices

actually you are breaking the law by disturbing one outlets business when they have done nothing to you and by stickering thier bathroom and doors its called vandelism ,you could go to jail on a misdemeanor if you want to protest go protest at kfc headquarters or a chicken farm or somewhere treating animals inhumanely ,your jus being childish and immature by doing it the wrong way

I think you should have taken the $100.00 and went to the source. You shouldn't shoot the messenger! The people who have to clean up the mess your making did nothing wrong but get a job, go to the farms that are actually doing the cruel act and protest them there.

I completely dissagree with your every action first off you should be arrested for stickering the place. Thats vandalism. It is punishable by law. Second the KFC your protesting couldn't do jack to adjust anything you would need to confront the coorprate company. Third you remind me too much of PETA and those people are just plain idiots to begin with they protest everything.
And you would totally hate me. I go hunting every season. I kill deer. shoot em right between the eyes if I can. Stock my freezer full of venison. KFC around me is great, no reports of bad or undercooked chicken. No sicknesses. And their store has awards. When you are protesting this place, you are hurting their business, your also hurting the employees who work there, these people could give a rats behind about your point of views. Grow up get a life. And live the store alone. Find a more productive outlet for your disdain of animal treatment, contact your local representatives, the headquarters of major suppliers for KFC or the Headquarters of KFC itself. The individual stores can't do squat even if they wanted to.
