If you went on a quiz show and won a million pounds ….but ….you had to phone a friend to help you with one of the questions , would you give that friend some of your winnings ? Remember, it doesn’t matter which question you asked your friend for help with ….could be the first , the last, or any question inbetween ….just think without their help along the way you wouldn’t have won anything ….. So what would you do ….? Give them some money ? Buy them a gift ? Just say ‘ thanks ‘ ?

Since I would have likely lost had I not asked for the answer, my friend would get a generous gift of cash. If I won a million, after taxes, it would be a little over 500,000. I would think that a gift of 25,000 would be fair. I would invite this person out for dinner and after the meal, I'd hand over the cash.

Oh, that’s so nice of you. Yes, I think that’s a fair amount to give. I like the fact that you would take them out for a meal, they would think that was the thanks, then you give them the money, that would be a lovely surprise. Please remember if ever you do go on a quiz show ….you can always ring me for help……

@Traceyjayne I will do that. If I already know the million pound answer, I'll call to let you be the first to know that I was a millionaire, lol.

Of course I love to share some money. I don't want to feel guilty. It's fair.

@Traceyjayne It depends on. If this is the final question and my friend gave me the right answer, I think it's alright to share 40%.

Of course, I would share. Since the friend/s helped me to win. I also believe in the saying that the more you give, the more you receive. If I won a million, I would give my friend 30% of my winnings. 300,000. Then perhaps, eat in a fine diner with his/her favorite dishes.

Being on my own I would share a bit just as a thank you and then have enough for the rest of my life and also give to charity,

Depending on the % of his help, I will split the price with him accordingly. For an example if he is to help me to achieve 1 million from 500k, I will give him $250k as a thank gift.

It is said when one becomes rich, we forget the ideals that we held close to heart. I believe a selfless life is fulfillment while a selfish one is misery. So I will share from my winnings wholeheartedly.

100% depends on how much I won. If it was big-time $$ like 6 figures, probably 1/4 of the cut.

I'd consider how many questions got me there and then calculate a percentage to offer the person who helped me with one of them...or just take them to dinner. lol
