Myspace...Good or Bad?

I dont use it myself but apatently many people like it. the whole concept of it doesent interest me much. Seems like a great idea though, i can see why many people like it and find it useful. i havent been there enough to know if the age limit is inforced or not.

I have a teenage daughter who spends a great deal of time on myspace and I have to monitor it very closely. I have found out quite a few things I may not like by her posts or responding to bulletins. Some of it is good but I think it should be monitored a lot better. Some of the blogs and bulletins should not be repeated by some of these teenagers.

I am indifferent on the subject. MySpace has good features and bad. It is cool that you met your fiance on myspace! I think it is bad because of some of the post that older people put on there, you never know who is viewing you, so you always have to be leary. You have old people preying on the 16 yr olds. I've watched dateline! It is just a shame that you always have to be looking over your shoulder and extremely cautious of who, what and why you are chatting with people.

I think its awesome. I hear on the news how they are trying to get myspace blocked in public places such as schools and librarys because kids are getting on there and getting ubducted. I think that is just stupid. Yea sure it is dangerous but if you are on there and you arent old enough to realize it usually isnt smart to meet up with random people online you have no reason to be online in the first place.
