What would you do if there was no tv, no internet, no computers, no movies?

i think people from older generations would know how that feels as there's no tv, internet, pc and movies too last time. it's good in a way, that i think family and friends could communicate more with each other and the bond between family, relationship and friendship is much much closer than now. Today technology can be the caused of distance between ownself and the outside world...LOL cos we are too engrossed with online/games/ that we dont even need real interaction anymore.

Would entertainment include books?
I can't see us, as society, having no entertainment at all.
We are a race that must do things for fun. If we didn't have tv, internet, movies, or even books, we would have story-tellers. We would have games to play with others. I certainly think that we would probably be more social than we are now.
Today, we can sit alone for hours typing away on a computer...but not truly be alone because there is someone else in the world typing right back to us.
But I must say, no internet? That would really suck!

well for one it would put thing back the way it was 30 or more years ago. there was no pc there was no internet as we know it today, there was no home video games none of that stuff we all survived and we had fun. we went out and played with our friends. we did things with our families. and we would probably be a whole lot happier and healtier that we are now. as staticis have it we are not a healthy socity a lot dont do anything except sit in front of the tube or computer.
Yes we would be bored at first but it would be nothing we could not survive at and we would probably be a whole lot healthier also

I don't thing so because you can turn to books and find things to do with family. Like playing board games or go out and play sports.

I'd read a lot.... wait, I already do that! lol
But honestly, I think as human beings we'd devise our own way of entertainment.

If music, movies, sports, or no other form of entertainment existed, we probably wouldn't know any better so we wouldn't be bored. We'd probably be more fascinated by the little things in life like taking walks and visiting time. We take for granted our entertainment as so it's hard for us to see ourselves without it.

If these things were suddenly taken away, then, yes, life would be VERY boring because we have become dependent on these things for entertainment. However, if we never had these things, then from birth, we would find alternate methods to keep ourselves entertained, like our parents and grandparents did...granted they had music and sports, but my parents didn't have a tv until my mom was a teenager and they certainly had no computers.

I suppose we would all just work longer hours or go for walks or actually have long conversations with another human being face to face....It would be an interesting experience

I guess it wouldn't be too bad. I still have my poetry and since I am an inventive and creative person, I could always find something else to do. Like doing hair, hand sewing, beading, and cooking. I guess that's one of the perks of not being electronically dependent.

just appreciate everything around you, just imagine you lived with the past with nothing around to entertain yourself, maybe then you can just look up the sky and look around and see the beauty of nature .... you can do island hoping.. that's a good one
