When I was younger, my sisters and I used to drink water while plugging our ears. It seemed to work! I haven't tried it in a long time, though.

I Compress my chest by pulling my knees up or lean forward and Gargle warm water to relax the muscles.

I use the drinking water one i drink 2 glasses as quick as i can and it seems to work for me.

I always use the method of 9 gulps, my grandmother taught it to me. Take a glass of water and then take very slowly 9 gulps of it. Count them in your mind, i.e. take one gulp and say: one, take the second and say: two etc., then the interval between the gulps remains the same. It usually helps. If not, do it once more. 99% guaranteed.
