Trains

Have you traveled on a train. I did as a child. But i would like to take a long train ride cross country. If you have please share your experiences.

I have been on several tourist-type train rides as well as city/commuter trains a few times. I would love to travel by train cross country but the trains do not go where I usually travel... Maybe someday!

Yeah, someday in the near future I would love to ride a passenger train. Just think, no worries, just relaxing and enjoying the views. Letting someone else do the cooking,make the beds and all.

Yes I have done so many times. Its very exciting to travel by train.

Was it a long ride? Duid you have a bunk and was there a place to go outside and see the views?

Yes, i have traveled a lot by train but only within my country, Sri Lanka. My favorite railway is between citeis of Colombo and Nuwaraeliya, as it have amazing site seeing.
