Game Cube?

Don't waste your money on a Game Cube. Get yourself a Playstation 2 or Xbox instead if you are into those types of games. If you can afford it get one of the newer systems out there(Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, or the Xbox 360).

I DEFINITELY HAVE INPUT HERE~!!! dont waste your money.. several reasons.. first, they are known to be sensetive and are prone to be more "problematic" than playstations or the like.. also.. they lack a large variety of games, the controls have SO MANY buttons they are not really that "user friendly", alot of the games they DO have you can get for another system, and you cant use any of the last nintendo games on their new system thus making them obsolete. id go for a PS2 they are alot more "user friendly", have an extremely wide variety of games, arent so sensitive to malfuntions and they allow you to play games from the former playstation as well.. THIS is coming from my husband who own 7 playstation 2's and only 1 gamecube.. and he says the only reason he even HAS thegamecube is to play super metroid and he got it cheaply.. so he has every other system (cept PS3 lol) including a dozen or so uprights from the 80s and thinks this particular ones a "joke" get yourself a ps2.. or ANYTHING else

Why a game cube. The new Wii is out now. I don't know what games that are available for the cube, but you can always try to get a used system at gamestop, or other retailers that just sell video games. Generally these are cheaper than buying a new unit.

i think that there not a waste of money and every kid should own one !!!!! there really amazing plus yu can get alot of really awosome games too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have one and we have all the movie games like The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix. So go for it, get your self one.

My son has one and hardly uses it. He likes the playstation much better. I like it too because I find more games on sale with the playstation then the game cube.

my sons had a gamecube and had nothing but problems with it, like the discs always having a read error and the system just freezing. not to mention that the game titles are really marketed towards the younger ages, mario games n such.

I like gamecube and plus you could get a lot of the games at cheaper prices. I like the Mario sunshine game, that was fun!

I have a game cube and have it for years and I still play with it also I have a few games that is my favorite like Links game I just got the game last week and it has 4 different links games from the original nintedo games I love it. I love to play the adventure of Link.

I wouldnt recommend a gamecube. You should get yourself a nintendo wii....it can play the gamecube games. The wii is cheaper than the xbox360 and the ps3. Its fun for all ages and so addicting.

Are you into the Smash Bros. games? Get Super Smash Bros. Melee as it's a pretty cool all star game. If you're into Zelda games, if you didn't get the Wii version of The Twilight Princess, I'd say go check it out. It really depends on what type of games you're a fan of exactly.

If I were you I wouldn't buy an Xbox because it's a waste of time. Spend more time on mylot maybe because it makes money at least.

I've had my gamecube for well over 2 years and have never had any problems with it. I already had an xbox when I bought it but, like you, I really enjoyed the mario games and the more 'cartoon style' games that Nintendo seems to offer. If you decide to buy a gamecube i'd definately recommend buying Super Mario Sunshine for it, it's a great game, i'd also recommend Harvest Moon - the graphics are great (very 'cartoony') and it's very addictive, I also really enjoy animal crossing but would advise you to read up on the game before you go out and buy it because it's one of those games that you'll either love or hate. I've also got Mario Kart for my gamecube, if you like the previous mario kart games then you'll love this one. Happy gaming!

I got a GCN when they first come out and in a lot of ways I think it was a big mistake...there was not many really decent games on it and it looked and felt like a child's toy (I used to call it the "Fisher-Price 'My First Console'"). As for good games, the only ones I used to play and recommend is Eternal Darkness, Animal Crossing (not the European version, and get an eReader if you can) and Metroid Prime.

I think that Nintendo is the best console i have ever seen. Buy a gamecube it's not a waste of money because it has a lot of funny and excellent games, like Zelda, Mario kart or Resident Evil Rebirt and Resident Evil 4. Nintendo rules!

Theres only one KILLER game native to the gamecube and thats Pikmin. Well worth getting a used game cube just for that one. Truly original and fun.

I have a Gamecube and I love it! Try the Mario Party series, really fun to play with friends. It is like a gameboard you go around and you also compete against other players in mini games. You can play by yourself to against the computer. Also try the Sims games very addictive! I have never had a problem with my Gamecube and I have even dropped it a couple of times!
