A Prayer can change God's will. Do you agree? What do you think?

I disagree if a prayer can change God's will. Because the True God will never change His will. Unless, he is not the true God. If He is God that we made, may be he will always change his mind and his will:)
Prayer changes our will, and not God's will.
What do you think?

Prayer is talking with God. God's will is what God wills to happen. But I beleive that prayer can change things. If it is God's will, it will really happen. But if you pray that the will of God will be change, it largely depends on how you pray for it. Pray hard when it is hard to pray.

Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.
I agree if we must pray hard when it's hard to pray.
But, I disagree if prayer can change God's will and it depends on how I pray.

a prayer can change God's will. however, it will be depending on who is praying and what one is praying about. there are so many accounts in the Bible that God listens to people's prayer.

Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.
God listens and answer the prayer. It doesn't mean that God changes His will. But, people has asked according to God's will.

Sometimes I really want that God does what I wanted. Even though I knew it's wrong. But, I still pray to change God. I wronged, you are right.

If you knew it's wrong, why you still do that?
Just pray that you will know God's will and God changes you.

i think God already has His own plans for everyone and prayer will not change anything...everything is to be in His times. for example, i may pray for a better job now, but if it's not God's will, i will never get a better job now...when He think that it's the right time, then it's the right time.

That's great. I agree with you. The question is why we have to pray then?
I think that prayer changes something, but it's not God. Prayer changes our will...
Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.

good question...i guess we pray a lot, asking friends to pray for us, asking for intercessions of saints and angels to pray for us so that God may speed up His plans? LOL

it's not that prayers are connected to saints and angels....i'm saying that we are asking for their intercession to pray for us...like how we will ask some family or friends to pray for us too..

i disagree. i believe in my own work and try to find justice by it. as you sow, so u reap. if we are not wise enough and yield to somthing unreasonable and unjust and irresponsible, God can never help us. God only helps us when we help ourselves. oderwise all bad deeds wud hve been elevated by prayers and prayers only. i think we are answerable for our good or bad deeds and suffer for them explicitly or implicitly.
Prayers can never change God's will. i just despite those who resort to GOD in times of needs and pray for help. God has never preached unjust practice, then wy did he have to do it in the first place. is he not answerable to HIM ??

I have a different opinion, though I disagree that Prayer can change God's will. But, I think we must pray and ask God when we in need. It's not to push God to do our will, but to see God's will and what must we do in that situation that we could still worship Him and glorify Him. Of course, we must work and do the best we can..

I do not believe that a prayer changes Gods will. It may change our will, but not his. The Bible says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Gods will for us was set before the foundation of the world. That's why when the disciples asked him how they should pray he said,... thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. When Jesus was about to go to the cross he asked that the... cup pass from him, yet not my will but thy wiil be done. There are times when I believe that we limit God when we pray for the things that we think we want or need. We might be praying Lord, give me this job that pays $30.00 an hour and he may want you to have a job that pays $100.00 an hour. Or he may want to make you an instant millionaire. Or he may want to put you in a minimum wage position and meet your needs other ways so that you can minister salvation to Sally your co-worker who is going to get hit by a car and die next month.

Yup, it will never changed God's will. The problem is we don't know God's will. That's why we pray and ask many things, to find what's God's will.

Think of God as your father, then think, if you father is firm about something you want , but you really ask him nicely again and again - as long as what you are asking for is good for you, wouldn't he concede?

But GOD is not a human. Though I've called HIM, FATHER. But He is different my father. Human is always changing. But the True GOD never changes, HE is not depend to human.
If you can change your GOD, then maybe you are the god...

Prayer cannot change the will of the Lord. We need to pray for God's will to be done. It may not be what we want it to be all the time, but God loves us and wants us to be happy. He may not "let us" have something that we think we "have to have" but He will provide something that may be better than what we could ever imagine.

If pray couldn't change anything, then why you pray?
What is the good thing of your pray activity? Just to make you feel good? It's a change. So, pray changed you...
Thanks for sharing it. I really appreciate it.

I'm not quite sure if I understand what you were trying to ask here, but God's will couldn't be changed. In God we see someone who never makes a mistake, someone who's allways right. That's why we say "In God we trust". If God's will could be changed, then people would begin to doubt in his decissions. That would be chaotic.Further more, that would mean God made a mistake or that there can be a better way of making something than God's first choice.
