what IS the best gift?

what is the perfect gift for a child, husband, family and inlaws? -or- do you go Homemade?

I would like homemade gifts, but I siply can not find the time to make them. And besides I am not too handy .... so ... I must buy some things

We try to go handmade as far as possible, its much easier toshow that the person was in our thoughts as we planned and made for them that way, plus everything is unique and comes free from that feeling that there was a price tag involved!
