I have a friend who's living in Sydney,Australia and they celebrate their Christmas in hot summer because their weather is different from where I live(I live in New York).
I don't like winter it because it's just too cold but I prefer spending my Christmas in winter seeing snow outside.I guess that's how I've grown up with so I prefer winter christmas more than summer christmas but I am very interested in Christmas in summer as well.
What is your opinion?

I've spent the past 6 years in Florida. It was neat at first, I went to the beach one Christmas Eve and got a suntan, while everyone back home up north was freezing. It wore off real quick though, just didn't feel like Christmas seeing palm trees and sand. We probably won't have snow here in TN for Christmas, but at least with the cold and all, it feels more like Christmas.

I do not like the cold weather as well, except around Christmas. I do love it cold then and love if it is snowy. Sitting around a warm fireplace on Christmas is just so special. I don't know if I could get use having weather in the 80s or 90s on Christmas Day.

Well I've never had a christmas in Winter (I live in Australia too). I feel that having christmas in the heat is a lot more laid back. We don't usually dress up, just in something comfortable. We usually eat outside, because between the heat and the oven, it's far to hot in the house to sit down to lunch. Often, we'll just have a garden party type thing, and go in the pool when we're done, or sit outside and have nice cold drinks nd catch up with the family. I find it a really relaxed, less uptight or traditional way to celebrate christmas.
Although I'm not really a fan of the heat, I don't mind out summer christmas traditions.
