I am writing a book on freeform knitting and crochet

Which means I am making lots of pattern prototypes and samples of things that will be in the book. Right now I'm working on a butterfly jacket. The wing is made in 8 pieces. It's going to take me a long time to fill in all those pieces. But I needed something magnificent for the cover. I'm also making a mermaid theme belly dancing costume. I have it safely stored away in a bin but I need to get it out and finish it. So I'm not going to be finishing the book any time soon. But Rome wasn't built in a day, right?
