Some people say things about that but for me i still love Nickelodean and Cartoon network. Maybe because I grew up with these networks and until now that im an adult, i still love watching their shows... now with my little nieces and nephew

In many ways they have turned for the worst. My niece loves to watch shows on both channels although Cartoon network not as much anymore. To be honest there are some shows we will not let her watch (and she's 12). One is the Amanda show on Nick, another is Ed, Ed and Eddy on Cartoon. They are gross and offensive. Many of these shows are teaching kids to be crude and rude.
Now some of the shows on Nick are great. Ned's Declassified, Fairly Odd Parents, Drake and Josh, Danny Phantom, etc are very good. They are shows I would have watched as a kid and watch with her as well now.

hmmm.. this is quiet a topic to discuss.. i too felt like they have not changed to a betterment.. but look from a different point, i have grown up, and todays kids do love these channels.. may be i as a older person, dont feel these changes are for good, but the management ppl look from the current customers, ie the current generations kids.. and i was thinking they have made the worst possible choice.. this is just my view.. no offense though..

I like Nick Jr only. I never really liked Cartoon Network. The shows lately are brainless and teaches nothing to your kids at all. At least Nick Jr teaches your kids how to read, and colors and to count and even Dora teaches a bit of spanish. My kids tv is always on Disney or Noggin. I know that those shows are approprite and teach my kids things.

in india, nowadays you get those channels in HINDI. which is preposterous, it robs most of the shows of their charm. also the general quality of shows has deteriotared over time.

whats the problem??? i used to watch nick a lot, i don't know because they don't really have shows that appeal to me anymore since i'm all grown up. but i LOVE cartoon network. i didn't watch it when i was younger but my kids watch it now and i LOVE the adult swim section at night.
