Do you believe everyone who lives in the united states should speak english?

I do because it is our countrys language and you should be able to comunicate effectively with the people in your country.

yes, everyone living in united states to be able to speak english, at least they can demonstrate the understanding of english. Like so many others from this web, you can speak proper english without going to study in the united states. I don't know what else they can speak other than english. One thing i can think of is they main language. They might come from Asia and speak their kind of language. Don't forget that south-east asians can speak proper english too.

yeh i believe they should ..im from the uk and its annoying that people from other countries want to live in our country but cant be bothered to learn the language

i believe everyone in the world should speak English, we would all get on a lot better if they did. Why bother with other minority language when we have a common one for everyone?

Sadly if their was a world language there are probably more people who speak Sainish and then you probably wouldnt support it as much. Thenks for sharing your opinion.
