Are big women coming back?

You see big women everywhere. Lately, it seems like big is coming back. For example, Comedian Mo'nique is big and proud. She carries herself nicely and lots of men admit they are attracted to her. You see so many big women with beautiful faces. Whose to say big women can't be sexxxy? Finally designers are starting to make clothes that appeal to our bodies. No more grandma moo moo looking dresses as I call them. Most big women have beautiful personalities and are very down to earth also. Why do you think this is? I think it's because we know what its like to be hurt and judged because of our size when there is so much more to us than the eye can see. Fellows be honest with yourself and me. Are you a man that likes big women? What attracts you to them?

Comming back?? Just where do you think we have been? Hun we BBW's have always been right here being our lovely selves. Its just recently that men have actually come to grips with the fact they really do like us! And...believe me most of them really do like bigger women. they have fianlly got it....."more bounce to the ounce" is a great thing!!

That's exactly what I mean. Men are starting to notice us so much more than before. Before, most men would not admit that they were attracted to big women. Now, they can't get enough of us.

I do know a Size Plus Model. It make sense. Kids now are havy and sad to say new generation is going to be 1/2 anorectic and 1/2 overweght.

I don't really notice a difference in the number of bigger women. I think I see about the same number of them that I did 10 years ago. Now of course I haven't kept an exact count, but nothing pops out at me as being dramatically different. It could be possible however that more and more people are eating fast food these days, so who knows, maybe there are more obese women. Very interesting topic.

I am a small lil lady, 5'1" and only 115 lbs and I am hoping to God that big is in!!! I may be small but do not have a very flattering figure which still places me in the anti-skinny girl club. I hate them!! You know the ones who where little tiny everythings and who complain they are fat. What is up with that???

I don't think big women ever went away did they? As a guy, I don't like skinny women or large women. I like women to look healthy. I find a woman who is not afraid to eat very attractive. Bones were never designed to be seen, but a women's shape was (in my view) Therefore, if a women has flesh and is shaped, there is nothing on earth sexier.

Do you mean coming back to the media, where it used to be predominantly anorexic women?
I think big women can be sexy. But more and more people are now getting larger, so it shouldn't be too shocking to see more on TV as well. I think that's why there are more clothes out there, just because there are more big women now than ever.
I don't really think about size when I'm dating. I am a somewhat petite woman, maybe short/average. But I don't look for other women by body type. I date women based on their personalities.

i dont knoe if they are coming back but its getting better that people are not being so ignoratnt about how ppl look. i also am glad to see more beautiful clothes out in the world

I don't think it's neccessarily that there are more it's just you are able to see more. I'm seeing more and more TV Shows, commercials etc showing healthy looking and heavier set women instead of the barbie anorexic looking ones they showed for years.
I think it's great that designers are making clothes in order to flatter fuller figures. Fo so long you either had the moo moo's or you had what I call "skinny clothes" made larger and that just doesn't always work.
Now I asked my brother on this since the women he dated have all been heavier set. He stated he prefers to be able to hold on to something and as he put it "I don't like feeling bones digging into me"

I think big is o.k as long as the woman is healthy. that also goes along with slim women, as long as their healthy. and yes, women are beautiful in all shapes and sizes:)!

I think seeing more diverse body types is wonderful, fat, skinny, just right, whatever...
BUT, unfortunately, for as great as Mo is, she's OBESE and not healthy! Her size should not be a role model for anyone. I understand most people aren't 5'8 and 120 lbs, but 5'8 and 320 is no better! If big means plump and healthy, than great, but if it means lazy and unhealthy, no thanks.

I think big women are like that because they learn to rely on their personality and brains more than their bodies, which will only get you so far in life. They have what really matters inside, and know how to treat other people because they have been treated badly themselves.

no. the problem it's like this. the women hwo it's having a complex must be more atractive in others ways. she is more fun that the thr other girl, she nows what to tell you when you get sad, to make you forget and this is way u like her but a few guys will get marry with her.
