I do my best to not get discouraged and keep up so it's not a bigger chore then it already is.

I do, it is so hard to be able to get it all done, I own a daycare, have a child and still have to do everything else,my husband helps some, but most of it is left to me. No matter how much you clean it never seems clean.

I know the feeling. I have 5 kids. I dont think mine even makes it an hour before its messed up again. My kids help but they have to be forced to. lol.

I know exactly what you mean. I have four children. Their ages are 6,5,2,and 9mths. No matter how hard I clean you can never tell I did anything.

I don't have 3 kids and have the same issue. Do you kids at least pitch in? My son tries, but he always quits about half way through, I am grateful that he wants to help and gvies it a good try.

I too have this same problem, and I only have one child. I work full-time and it seems like I'm constantly running around in circles at home trying to get things clean, doing laundry, and the ever dreaded dishes!! UGH! But I read this quote in a magazine once: "If your house is a mess, and the laundy is not done, then you have your priorities in check"
So in other words, if you're spending time with your children, and your family and as long as they are happy, it doesn't matter what your house looks like and it doesn't matter if your house gets clean or not. This quote has helped me out a lot and I remind myself many times, that it really doesn't matter if my house is messy and I just do what I can.

It'll never be done!! If you have someone take the kids for a day, then maybe, but otherwise, no! You'll never be done. Don't beat yourself up over this. Keeping up with a house and kids is more than a full time job and like you said, a clean room doesn't stay clean for very long. It's discouraging sometimes. I always look at is as an opportunity to get some exercise. Since I changed the way I saw housework, I've gotten better with it and don't dread it so much.
