Its difficult, and it will depend on what your triggers are. I've found some breathing patterns that help me, also having a list of good things that I can switch my attention to even for a few seconds if need be.

My triggers seem to be my children. Anytime they ar eout of my "control."

You have my sympathy. I have family members and friends that suffer from that too. I have panic or anxiety sometimes when I'm driving in an area I'm not familiar with and traffic is heavy. Have you tried meditation and deep breathing exercises? Those have helped me in the past. I know some people also have success with hypnosis.

I walk the Labyrinth and that is helpful, but meditation is much harder when juggling two kids at that very moment.
