i go with the cheeper original. and the Wii is interactive too which is a huge step towards technology helping people become more active.

The Wii looks so cool! But i just saw an article on Comcast yesterday saying it was breaking people's TVs? I didn't read the article, so I'm not sure what it's about...

wow nice lol i was gonna write a topic if anyone has had a shot of these yet lol well i like the look of the gameplay of the wii it looks very different and fun which you just dont seem to get nowadays :p but then in saying that there is going to be a limit to how far they can go with this kind of controlls i mean what about driving games or the likes ?? could be wuite dificult i think .. Hey i dont mind though im gonna get all of them ha ha ha the Xbox 360 is good :p llget the PS3 soon and i thin the wii is in the shops here on the 8th of december yeh so ill have that soon too lol.. I bought both. I actually waited in line for 3 days for my playstation 3 and for my wii i waitted 6 hours after work and recieved it. The playstation 3 i should have sold because at the moment its over priced and only one game is out that is really good. Also, I love the wii's gameplay. You cant get sick of it. I keep playing over and over wii sports and bowling. I want to top all my records over and over. My high score is 235 iin bowling but I'm trying so hard to get a perfect 300. So i perfer you to go with wii. Playstation 3 wait for half a year or a year to buy it.

My hubby and I do intend to purchase both, but we are getting the Wii first. The playstations are always overpriced when they first come out, you have to wait almost a year before they come down to a normal price. The Nintendo looks a lot more fun to me too, the gameplay looks awesome. And I am with you on the graphics, they all look the same now, I can't tell who has better stuff.

Well i think that playstation 3 is much better than nintendo wii. But it is cheaper so i think that many people would go for it.

wii game play is better since it is interactive. Its more fun to be involved in the games. Sony PS3 is more plain but the blue ray disc feature & graphics(only be diffrentiated in HDTV) are the new options. I would love to have both if someone gifted.

It "is" cheaper - but sheesh, the prices on these consoles and games is really climbing to ridiculous heights, especially when my kids can have a game beat within a few weeks time...and the trade-in prices are laughable. But, that being said, I am very interested in the Wii. I'm wondering how much room it actually requires in terms of players feeling comfortable. The first thing I thought of when I saw it is that we really are moving towards long-anticipated sci-fi level sports - hahahaha!

I prefer the gameplay of the wii then the ps3.Because the wii is a whole new way of playing.The ps3 is the same thing with some blue ray disc and better graphics processor.

I think DS is garbage.But wii totally owns the whole console market.Cause it has a whole new way of playing.ps3 is just better graphics.And i don't really care about graphics.Wii rocks.I will buy wii.

I prefer high tech and originality combined, wii has some originality and xbox has tech but only ps3 combine both. You've never played disgaea and phantom brave on ps2 have you? These games are very original. In which other game can you use your own enemy or even yourself as a weapon? The only good game on wii will be mario, zelda and metroid, just like the gamecube. Those games are really the best of their genre but any other games are just boring very average games. Though my brother have a gamecube, I really regret not being able to play mario and the latest zelda since he doesn't want to buy them. But ps2 have so much more grewillat games and Ps3 be the same.

I think that I would purchase the Wii in the near future, it's way more affordable than the ps3, as much as I want one I will buy the nintendo system, I've always been a big fan of nintendo anyways. Right now I have all three systems, ps2, gamecube and xbox.

Like what's been circling around the net lately, my answer would be that if you're a hardcore gamer then the powerhouse ps3 is for you. If you're not a serious gamer, go for the Wii. Me, I'll stick with the ps2 until the price of the ps3 goes down significantly.

i think of the playstation 3 in my opinion although you do have a point there. its all the same game and everything, and yea one may be expensive than the other, but somehow i still would rather get the playstation 3. maybe, ill end up getting a wii as well.

I would prefer wii. But as a fan of final fantasy series, I will buy console where the FF series go. ;)

The Nintendo Wii will be absolutely great. It's only weak point are the graphics that are not at pace with the other next gen consoles. The revolutionary controller and the possiiblity to download almost all games made for the older consoles will provide tons of fun!
