Obesity and hypertension emerge as risk factors with increasing wealth and poor people will need to be protected from developing these risk factors as they undergo development and upward social mobility.

Obesity is a chronic disease with serious consequences. It has been linked to more than 2.5 million deaths annually. And it is the cause of multiple diseases, referred to by doctors as co-morbidities. Some, like hypertension, gastroesophageal reflux disease, joint pain and sleep apnea, are directly related to obesity. Certain cancers, depression and dermatological problems have also been associated with it.

thanks for posting in the discussion. I think obesity is deposition of extra fats which is main route cause leads to all majore health problems.Cause of obesity are overeating, lack of physical activity, hereditary, fried food,thyroid.
