People are asking a lot of times on here why they are not getting a response and yes at times it is genuine
But I go back to the Topics I have responded to and most of the time there has been no acknowledgement that my response has been read by this Person which gives me the feeling that they are not interrested in what I had to say
I go back to all mine once to twice a Day and respond back to them
I know not everyone has time to do that everyday or they are not on every Day but even a few Days later just acknowledge that you have read it
There are some of my Friends that I know can only acknowledge at certain times and I respect that but there are others that are putting new ones in all the time but do not acknowledge the response they are getting
I am not being awful or nasty about it but I am sure it would help getting you more response as People then feel they are not wasting their time responding to you
I might be wrong and please do tell me your Opinion about this

I agree. I try to reply back to those that reply to my discussions. If people only respond with 1 word answers or a sarcastic remark that has nothing to do with the conversion I won't respond. But if someone takes the time to put thought into their answer I will try to get back to them as soon as possible.

I really do agree as it is very annoying to think that they don't care about your reply.I also try to respond to as many as possible but i am sometimes too busy to do that .I feel really bad if i find a response to one of my discussions that was a dew days previous i give a response but i am sure the person hasn't seen it as they would have given up looking which makes me feel worse.Sometimes i don't bother though as they are people that don't reply to their responses anyway

No they might not but then at least you did it
I normally check for a week and see if it has been acknowledge but again not everyone has to do that but I know there are People on here that can not acknowledge it straight away as they have other things to do
So don't feel bad if your acknowledgement is late you made the effort

I happen to agree with you.I have found the same thing.It really takes no effort to make a quick response to someone who has taken the time to add their input to the discussion.I know not all responses require a reply, but in alot of cases the responses are well thought out and often very helpful.I think it's quite rude to not respond.I always make an effort to at least thank the person for responding if I have nothing to add to what they have said.

I try to respond to all comments made in my discussions and have visit back to discussion I have commented in and yeah sometimes no acknowledgment....
Some comments are hard to answer back and some make no sense at all...

sometimes the post tend to get away from us at the time. I try to go through all my posts and respond to the posts. But lately I have not really been on and have a little catch up to do.
Most of us that have stuck around are pretty good at it.

Thats what I mean People don't have time and that is understandable and at least you do it when you do have time and that counts that is why I normally check for up to a week
I know I don't get paid for that and I know we don't get paid for answering but it is appreciation that People have bothered to respond and taken their time to advise and that and I do appreciate People responding to me like most of you do
You are doing good as you are taking the time to acknowledge when you have the time

I sometime comment on the response I sometime don't. It rarely depends on how he replied to my discussion but I will try to comment responses as long as i can.

Well thats ok as you will be one of the People that have other things to do aswell even if you just put in the last response that you see when you are on thank you to everyone and just respond to the ones single that you have time to

I make a serious effort to reply to all comments that I get on my discussions. Typically it's not too hard, since I don't actually get that many. ^_^ Of course there is my big rant thread, that got over thirty replies, my biggest discussion yet. I'm still slowly making my way through that one and replying to everyone. I believe you replied to it, and if I'm not mistaken, I've already given you a reply to your comment. I will always, -always- reply to comments left to me, even if it takes me a while. Personally, I prefer to have someone acknowledge my comments as well. These things are called "Discussions" how can they be a discussion if nothing is ever discussed?

some of my topics dont get many responces and some do you just have to make the topic about something that is going to get their attention or interests. and then communicate with people who leave a responce so they know their responce matters in some way.

Yes that is what I suggest as there are a lot of People that know they are appreciated and their Comments are
Sometimes it does take time for comments to be put through just always make sure you do a Discussion that is interresting
I don't post many only when I think something is Interresting

I just started with myLot. So far I don't generally feel that people would have a reason to respond to me. Most people have asked for thoughts and I respond to those that I feel I have experience to speak on. If they use my idea or get some help from what I have said, I have no need for a thank you.

I think you are right, I know I am more inclined to answer questions from people who I have recieved a comment from. I try to check my discussions when I have time but I must admit I don't comment on all answers, just the ones that I feel need a response.

A lot of people try to milk this site for revenues. Because of this, myLot sees acknowledgements without useful content as a way to milk the site for money.

I agree to this. Even though I am only a newbie I haven't seen any response to my feedback :( . I feel even if they responded in a group section say every five posts they put in a response that way you can see it has even been read.
