Yes, we give our pets, two cats, gifts for the holidays and their birthdays. Usually it is a treat of some sort that they like, or a small toy. We love them, and spoil them. They are so loving and affectionate. Not sure of their birthdays, as we rescued them, but we gave each of them a date anyway. Do you give your pets gifts?

You sound like your pets are your family, as our's are our family. I love animals, and hate that so many people that own them, don't show the love and respect they should to them. Don't they know that animals have feelings too? Your pets are lucky to have you, even the fishie :)

Oh yes, they are definately family members and they feel such as that...lol. Your family seems very loving as well. Yes, the fish should be thankful that they are fish so we don't go plucking them out of the water to pet them...lol.

That is wonderful. Yes, I do actually. We have 1 dog, 1 cat and some fish. We obviously don't get the fish anything, lol. But our dog usually gets some toys and a huge bag of treats and the cat will get some toys and some treats, we have even gotten the cat a heating blanket before...lol. They are both spoiled rotten and we wouldn't trade them for the world. Thanks so much for asking!

Yep, our dog and cat both have their own stockings that get stuff in them from Santa. They both get presents as well, the cat doesn't much care for opening them but we have to hide the dogs' from her because she will tear into it...lol. She knows that she gets stuff for Christmas...lol. They are definately a part of our family...them little brats :).

Yes, this may be true. My cat seems to play with everything except for the things that we buy for him to play with...lol. Thanks for your response!

I am sorry that you are allergic. I have known some kids that were allergic but still tried to play with them and get sick during/afterwards...it is really sad to me because they just want to play too. Thanks for your response.

We buy Christmas gifts for our pets. We have 3 dogs and they all have stockings that we put bones/rawhides in and usually a dog toy or a chew toy. The cat gets some treats and a toy & even the guinea pigs will get a special treat. Haven't thought of what to get for the fish yet though!

We get our fur babies Christmas gifts. Kai even opens his own gift. So cute to see, carefully smelling it, pokes it with his nose, sticks his teeth in the top bit,and then just starts pulling. He leaves wrapping paper all over the room. Tara has learned how to open hers yet but she has learned to keep them away from Kai. We haven't given them any birthday presents as yet, but that may change.

They mainly get presents alllll the time. Although, at Christmas, they each have their own stocking to open. My Husky has one in the shape of a dog and as soon as she sees us pulling out the Christmas decorations she takes her stocking and lays down on top of it. I think she's afraid she isn't getting presents if she don't have it with her. We have to sneak it away so we can put stuff in it.
