yeah it is scary, after you get it most of the time you have to reinstall or refresh your computer.

As far as i know if your pc has got affected by some malware(virus,worms, spyware...etc)...then within some hours ur pc's OS will crash and then when u restart it u will get a blue screendisplying somthing like "ERROR IN ...blah blah"
hope i am right :)

It can happen and happend to me very often with my old pc. I think the best thing to do is a complete back up of your data and have a check (and maybe an upgrade) of you pc.

Wow. I haven't seen that message since Win98 I think. Do you use XP ?

Its error common in windows 98 and windows Me.
One of the reasons was non-compatible RAM installed in the pc,and others were when we install some software or specially uninstalling them could cause you to see this blue screen,but nowadays there is no blue screen.
You must use windows xp with sp2 for a safe computing.
In winxp where there is some fatal error,Normally pc restarts automatically unless you changed the option,but that blue screen is quite enhanced not like you posted :P

I've seen it many times. I've heard it often people will blame Windows for its instability. I try to back up all my important data and try to keep my operating system safe. Most people suggest using Linux, a relatively safe operating system. However it has some learning curve, and requires a great deal of technical knowledge.
