why does the wife always handles the money and not the husband?

an older friend of mine told me this last night, yet i dont have the answer since i am not yet a family man. any one has an idea? thanks.

Well in my house, my husband likes to handle the money. He is the frugal one...I tend to overspend or impulse shop. At the grocery store I'm the kind to throw stuff that looks good in the basket and spend more than I want, while he's the kind to go for just a few things and nothing extra.

if you spend all day at work i suppose she has more time but the internet is a good way of paying bills so i suppose who ever is better at the job should do it
