NRL vs AFL- Worth bashing someone up over?

The competition between these two sports is ridiculous. My partner got belted at a sydney pub a few months ago for wearing the wrong tshirt or something. I find it disgusting and juvenile, whats your opinion?

Im a big fan of both these codes, theres no point getting into a slanging match over 2 different sports its just wrong i say ,we know there are diehard fans of both codes who will only watch that code but yea thats a bit over the top, what shirt did he wear?

Wow, that's crazy. It happens in the U.S. sometimes, but usually at the games themselves when fans get drunk.
Of course, this is nothing compared to some of the soccer (football) hooliganism that happens among fans of the English team and other teams.
