Did you have a c-section or natural birth? Was it easy to recover from? I had a c-section for my second child and it's been a year and I still have pains often.

I have two children and I had both of them natural child birth! I have already told myhusband on the next one we either do a home birth or we do a birthing canter birth! Both births were very bad experience from the staff at the hospital! If I would have known that my second child was going to very easy I would have had her at home.

I've had four births, none of which were c-sections. First birth, demerol. Second and third, natural - and yes, it hurt. Fourth, stadol followed by an epidural. I recovered quickly each time, but with the fourth I recovered VERY fast. Just the next day I felt like I never even had a baby!

I've heard of a growing trend for women to schedule c-sections even though they may be medically unnecessary. I don't get it. Based on many of the posts here, it is much harder for most women to recover from a c-section. What is the advantage, do you think - I mean, if it's not necessary?

I had a natural birth, and I had very little recovery time. I had no stiches or anything. I have heard that it takes forever to recover from a C-section and that you are never quite the same even after you heal.

I had c-section too. I wanted to have naturla birth but with my daughter's brain being too big from her having brain damage so doctors made me go thgouh c-section. I couldnt get up for 2 days after the c-section. It been 4 years and I dont have any pain but my scars didnt heal up right and it looks very bad. I have to have c-section for my future children if I have any, so Im hoping the line will get better after the another c-section. I was walking like an old lady for about 2 weeks after the c-section. You might want to go check yourself if you still have pains.

well my dear. a c-section cuts thru the muscle.. therefore its ALMOST impossible to get your tummy back. All the people i know who had one always had "a fold of skin" that hung over.

I recently had a baby on August 25th, via C-section. I am barley starting to walk and feel better. Although I do still feel a great deal of pain at times. Im not sure if you should still be feeling "pain" but I was looking up info on C-sections, and it said that some women claim to always be sensitive there. When I read that, I wasn't sure if it meant pain or not, but that's what came to mind.
