I personally enjoy using Paint Shop Pro. However I'm not a professional graphic designer or whatnot so I don't really need the extra tools that Adobe Photoshop CS provides.

I have CS3: I don't use it much; PaintShopPro X2 Photo does everything that Photoshop does, but it is so much more straightforward to use: fast, too and a really nice, elegant interface. javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')

My favorite photo editing program is Photoshop Elements version 3. I find it very challenging and I am learning more each tiem I use it. I find that articles written by professionals about Photoshop CS usually contain information that can be used with Photoshop Elements.

I also use Photoshop, i have a Canon 350D Digital SLR and Photoshop complements this and ables to be to digitally enhance my photographs. The result means they are more suitable for larger print, canvas printing and i have even managed to make some collage type prints by mixing photos on different layers and usings opacity filters to create an interesting picture.
