this is a big issue down the school, all we watch in the morning is gmtv or news. the parents moan when they are late what do they think kids would rather watch tv than get ready for school. what do you think should kids watch tv before school.

My son gets up in the morning and gets dressed immediately. As long as he grabs his breakfast before sitting in front of the TV we don't mind. He will actually get up early to have time to watch TV before school.

no, i dont allow them to watch tv before and after school. it divert their attention to other things. tv is allowed only during weekdays. sound strict but i must do it for their own good.

My kids watch TV in the morning while they have breakfast. Only my oldest is in school (1st grade). They usually watch NOGGIN or Disney Channel. That is unless my oldest is dilly-dalling, then the TV goes off.
She is up by 7am and the TV goes off at 7:30 so she can get dressed and brush her teeth before going out to the bus stop at 7:50.
