Whats the best class character to start with?

Very big discussion between my friends on what to start with, what do you recommend?

I would recommend choosing the class which appeals to you and being very careful in choosing the features of your toon. If you and your friends are planning to play together, you should decide as a group which faction (Alliance or Horde) you will become members of and make your selection once that decision has been taken. I am Horde. I am called Lokaine, and I am Shaman. I reside on the Draka realm. Good luck and May your blades never dull!!

Well... I say the paladin rulz! This guy is almost like a warrior with heal. The paladin has the auras that protect averyone in the party...so people will more likely take in party a paladin than a warrior. U can also start with a "professional" healer like priest, druid, and maybe shaman. But if you start with a healer, you will always need a tank beside you because it's very hard to complete quests by yourself.

Hunters are a very good choice if you're going solo. Priest and Warriors if you wanna go group up. Rogues and locks for PvPs. If you want something different, roll Paladins, Shamans, or Druids. Go mage if you want the best of all of em. :)

Personally I like a mage. But my boyfriend who knows more about the game than I do, says HUNTER. Which I agree, they are a blast to play!

If you want to always be able to get a group, play a priest.

well i like to start out as either undead or orc and i like being a warlok b/c u have creatures fight your battle and u just sit back and do DOT ( damage over time )

it really all depends and what you like to do if you like to heal and do damage make a shaman or druid

personally...i have a lvl 10 elf hunter...and i think it is the best class to start with. when you reach lvl 10 it allows you to train a beast and use it as an aid when your fighting monsters. also elves can you magic and have good skills in strength. they can also use a bow, which is helpful in more ways then one. you can attack from afar, and completely drain your opponents health before they are even close enough to attack you. GO WITH HUNTERS, THEY FREAKING ROCK!
