WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR DEPRESSED?????

me, i just cry it all out... and as much as possible i dont wanna go out of the room not until i would somehow feel ok... what triggers my depression is that when i think too much of the things i should have, could have, would have. And i hope i could get over this things...

When I am depressed I am like you I don't want to go anywhere. I take everything badly. If someone is joking with me I think they are putting me down. I find faults with everyone and everything. I am angry too when I am depressed.

yeah, that's why it would be better to stay away with other people, and let it cool down, because i dont want to say things that i might regret saying after. thanks for the response^_^

I always talk it over with my friends or boyfriend. It always helps to talk to someone.

yeah it does, but sometimes you just couldnt pull them out specially if they're pretty busy doing their thing. but i really believe that having someone to talk to can ease out the burden in you somehow.. thanks a bunch^_^

Close my eyes and think about some happy moments that i have spent. And also feel that such day will come again. as light is come after every darkness.

firstly i don get this feeling to my mind...however, human tendency u know that we too get depressed. So i start to think and i think hard very hard. i think of everything which is possible and which could evade that situation....and make things better....What do you THINK:):):)

I normally get depressed out of boredom and lonliness, like if I have been at home allllllll day, left alone with nothing but my thoughts.... As for what i do, well i go on the internet! I tend to end up doing thigs that are only partially/slightly productive, like going on mylot actually! I just try to occupy my mind, and sadly I just dont have to motivation to do my A level worrk!! (which would clearly be the best solution!!). After havving been depressed for a while I often try to arrage somthing with my friends, which normally involves geting very drunk, and more recently smoking herbs...

ohhhh, i see.... well at least you can still cope up with it. just keep in mind about the things that we should do and shouldnt do, ummmmmm just stay out of trouble alright, i think you can also get over it. thanks a bunch^_^

Have you tried writing a list when you feel like this? Just write down every last thing youy are torturing yourself with, then go back through it and cross out the things you know you cannot change. Then go through what is left and write down something you could perhaps do about them. I find that helps me see the perspective a lot better.

............sad and depressed - depression
when i am sad with some thing or some one i care for, i really get paranoid. to start with i wud snap at anyone and everyone around, i wud blast my sisters and close ones, i wud stop eating and silly stuff like that. this goes on for a while. afterwards, i get invincibly cool and tolerant and silent and inconversant. lately, i have realised that this has a heavy toll on my health. i have started to let go things and have stopped expecting from others. i am a relatively happy person now.

When I'm depressed, I start thinking future plans to make this world a better place. This keep me going and seperate me from things that I failed to do . Just walk forward. Any thoughts how you can make this world a better place to live ?

Crying helps a lot when your depressed. It's a relief mechanism provided in the body by Almighty God and should be used. A good cry by either man or woman is a release from heartache. if i feel depressed then i prefer to go to sleep and then i'll call to my best friend and share my core thing to relieve my depression. sp simple.

When i am feeling depressed i usually have a good cry. I call my boyfriend up and cry some more. I tend to want to be alone, and just reflect on the way i am feeling. I think that it's okay to have those bad days. Everyone does....U just have to be aware of the extremity and repetivity of you feeling that way. If you feel depressed all the time i would consult a doctor. But having bad days is healthy for you to have a good cry i think if you talk to your friends or family and let them into how your feeling it could bring a closer bond between you.

When I become more depressed than usual I tend you use sleep as an escape, this way I have nothing to think about or worry about. Normally being depressed I just drag myself through the day and the odd time I will have a good cry when it becomes too much.

I feel like that all the time. Its like a big weight on my shoulders, weighing me down. I find it hard to get up in the morning. I feel like I am dragging myself around all day, if I do get up. I want to cry it all out, but it feels stuck in there... so the best thing for me to do is keep busy. When I am not busy, I talk to my friends online. They are always there when I need to talk things out. Sometimes it really helps just to talk it through with someone.

hi there yah that also helps, to have somebody to talk to... well good for you though, because as for me, i just have to keep it to myself most of the time because all of my friends and family are all busy. well i just prayed to god that may he help me to get out of this.

I don't cry...when i'm depressed I dont seek any help from others I sit alone and do my best to solve the problem...I become very quiet and reserved when i'm depressed

i eat a lot! =) i dunno but it just happens naturally, everytime i'm sad or depressed, i just buy sweet stuffs..! i'm a bit skinny and not really craving for food everytime so my bestfriend joked that she wanted me to be sad always so i can eat more! lol! about your depression issue, don't worry too much...try to talk to someone very special to you about your problems and worries, it will help! good luck!
