I agree with you, just after few days on mylot I discovered the same thing, I don't try to calculate how many cents I get per point, etc and I search for good discussions not just posting in every one I see, If I don't have something good to say i just pass.

Well but in the sense that many of my discussions are having no responses. Hey guys come on. Once a while you should go and check the discussions with no responses. There are many of good discussions outthere. help everyone grow.
Thanks

I am checking them all the time when I am on, but it becomes difficult to keep up with 5 or 10 new ones being posted every 30 seconds. By the time you take a minute to respond to one 15 others have popped up. But I do make an effort to look at the new discussions.

I agree. I think that we have to many kids on this site. They type fast and do not care about what they say. Very often copy, paste stupid answers. Keep asking who erned how much and why. Sick!

Well it's easy to understand why to a certain degree. Most of the myLot signups through referrals and word of mouth are being told that theywill make money just by replying to discussions. What they are not told is that to really make anything at all they have to really put forth some effort. MyLot isn't going to give away all of their money for nothing. Eventually everyone will learn, the sooner the better.

I agree that there are a lot of people here only to earn money but that is not there mistake. The site is promoted by there users not as discussion group site but as a site which pays you for your time on internet! People come here looking for money and not to make friends. I hope that when member refer to someone they try to stress more about the other aspects of the site other than site which pays. I guess the site administrator should develop some way to eliminate people who give irrelevent replies just to earn one cent. The whole image of the site has to be changed protraiting the site has discussion group site.

I wanted to add that if we can find members only interested in discussion we can form a group and enjoy. Let me know if we can do that. I bet the group will be big as I know there are some people who have come to site to make good friends and discuss matters.

That is super 20 bucks already in a week. I hope to make half that and I would be really pleased.
I was pleasantly suprised when I was paid 7.5 cents a post yesterday. I know that some people make more than that but it was only my third day, so I was thrilled.

I love it! This is what I truly need to do! I've been here for about a week or a little over and I find myself focused on my earnings. That's because I want to get paid something. But more and more, I actually start looking for interesting conversations.

Excellent advise and I agree with it. I see a lot of people complaining about how much money they are making, but if you follow exactly what you've said it really adds up. I am almost ready to ask for a payment, and I've only been here a few days. However, I do try to follow Mylot's guidelines and the advice you gave. For me it's working out great!

Rather then tell people to shape up, why not tell them the things they should be doing. Show them what to do and then let them make a decision. If they choose to get involved that is a great thing and we should all welcome them. If they get involved they won't have to watch the numbers anymore.

You are fortunate to have those referrals working so nicely for you. For me all of the people I hav etalked to about this site are too busy to either sign up or too busy to participate. It's really their loss more then mine. I'll still be here and still be discussing and responding.

hey dude thanks for your tips. i would like to do all of those tips to increase my earigs but i do not have a lot of time. i usually spend around 2 hours on myLot and i usually get 30 to 40 posts perday. thats not a whole lot but i am trying hard to at least make 50 posts a day. i do not start a whole lot of discussions but i have three refrrals and all are active so thats good thing.

Getting referrals is a great thing. It's even better if they are active. In 2 hours time I would go for more quality posts. You can put together 30 to 40 really good posts per day and make more money then by scrambling to make 50. Once you get involved and leave good opinions on the discussions, be sure to go back and check them for responses too. You may be able to add even more once you read someone's response.

Get out there and get your friends signed up if you can. That will not only befit them, but you as well. If you can go to someone's how and help them register and get started that helps even more. Show them how myLot works, show them the money you have been making, then let them start earning. If people see bonafide money being made they are more likely to work at it.

I do all of those above. I has someone respond to 5 of my discussions and in all but one discussion he copied and pasted his response he said the same exact thing I had started the discussion out with. of course I did report him,

There is a cut and paste epidemic. I found a guy today who posted about 10 discussions in 3 minutes. All very long very in depth articles, which I thought to be a bit shady. They were on various topics from nursing school, GPS, teaching, art, politics and all sorts of stuff. Then I found some regualr posts in ther ewith all kinds of gramatical and spelling errors. Looking at the guys profile I saw he was 19 years old. there is no way a 19 year old can write articles like that. I swear I was reading from a magazine. They were all about 6 or 7 paragraphs long and about subject, like nursing school and teaching which and 19 year old that I know doesn't have that sort of capacity for learning yet. This is something that we all need to be on the lookout for.

This is a very good tip, and I to think there are too many younger people on here that are just posting short responses that don't mean anything, but with the new earnings system they won't be rewarded for junk and hopefully that may filter out a few.

Well many of them are clogging up the discussions asking why they are only making one or two cents or asking why their earnings went down. The reason why I posted a topic like this was so that if they look up topics or see similar topics after writing theirs they will see one like this. Hopefully they read it and take the information to heart. Those young people just need a little guidance.
