what will you do when u recived a wrong number

When I receive one, I just say" you've got the wrong number". If they say "who is this?" I ask who they were calling. I think it is rude to ask "who is this" when you dial a wrong number. They should just ask for the person they are calling. If I call a wrong number I apologize.

sometimes i dont answer because im scared that its a stupid guy calling for me...other times, im curious to see who it is so i answer. if i answer and its the wrong number, i just say "sorry you've got the wrong number" and hang up.

Well i say hello i get a response "hello. is this X place" I say which no. you have dialed they respond "i have dialed this" i say "wrong number, bye" and they put the phone down . :)

if i receive a wrong call than i just say" sorry sir/mam..it's the wrong number tha u've dialed and close the phone.."....but if i dial it wrong myself than i say"opps sorry sir/mam..to disturb u..bye"...simple as it is:)

I would inform the caller that its a wrong number.

When I receive a wrong number I would say "wrong number" and give away minimum information. If they ask "Who are you?" rather then answering I will say say "who do you want?"
