Do you purchase gifts from online auction sites?

Or do you think that its tacky? I personally see nothing wrong with it, I purchase gifts for family and friends from ebay quite often. Oztion tends to have more second hand goods so I am less likely to purchase gifts from there.

I don't think it's tacky to do that, but I just don't get a chance to do that. I prefer to do it the old fashion way, get them from the store.

Nothing wrong with buying gift in auction as long as the item is new or something which is unique. Can get quite good bargain in eBay sometimes.

Sometimes to purchase something through online is smart way to shop if you know what you want etc. I actually don't understand why it has to be wrong.
