The Green Mile is my favorite. But I also love Rose Red and The Storm of the Century - that was a goooood movie. And I liked The Stand.

That's because Storm of the Century was originall written as just a screen play. The book was just taken from the movie.

While I prefer the books, the best movie would a have to be the all time classic, Carrie. This would be the original production with Sissy Spacek in the starring role. Misery was definitely the next best as is reeked with malevolence...the sledge hammer to the feet was enough to make the stoutest heart cringe!

I would have to say Rose Red, The Shining, 'Salem's Lot and It are my favorites. 'Salem's Lot was one of the scariest books I have ever read. The Dark Half was also pretty good.
I hope this doesn't post twice. I have been having problems with the site today so forgive me in advance, just in case. LOL

I don't really like his movies. I like his books better and my favorite one is Bag of Bones.

I liked Delores Claiborne. It's a really good moral dilemna. The other fave movie was based on a story written by Richard Bachman - SK's penn name - The Running Man.

Stephen kings stories and movies scare me! i am such a chicken...i have seen one of his movies and that was langaliers(sp) my grandparents were extras in the movie, if they werent in it..i woldnt have watched it. We live in the same city he does. I drive by his house all the time...it looks like a haunted mansion.
