have you used alternative treatments such as reiki, aromatherapy, acupuncture?
What did you use them for and did you have good results?
I used to be interestd in aromatherapy and I do think their is a connection between smell and state of mind, and also that certain smells can trigger your memory. What is your opinion?
If you havent used these therapies, would you ever? Why/Why not?

I am a reiki practitioner. And yes, I've had good experiences with reiki before. I think alternative practices help to support traditional medicine adn do not necessarily act aas a substitute.
I am ver interested in aromatherapy but have not studied it. I do use aroma oils at home to help with relaxation and stress and to add to the energy levels at home.

Never had alternative therapies before, so I don't know how I'd react to it.

I had a running injury and a doctor used acupuncture with electrical stimulation. He also used massage and ultrasound on it, so it's hard to tell which technique or techniques made it feel better, or all of them. But it definitely helped reduce the pain and speed healing, I think.
My sister had acupunture for an ulcer and she thinks it helped.
Some of these therapies used to be considered way out, now they are becoming more accepted and mainstream.
