what's the best major for a associate degree?

I am worried for the major choosing these days. What's the best major do you think for the associate degree?

If you are at all interested in the medical field, there are plenty of associate degrees that you can get a job after your 2 years and make pretty good money. My daughter just finished an associate degree in being a lab technician and she got a job starting at $12 an hour working in a doctor's office lab! Not too bad to start with!
