I have read "To Kill a Moking Bird" some years ago. I thought that Harper lee did a very good job with the way she handled racisim in the south of that time. She also included the growing up of Jem and her brother, as well as the mental illness Boo Radley. She incorperated all these elements to make a very good read. I have it here some where I may find it and read it again.

It was an interesting read and something worthy of someone's time. I'm just afraid youths won't pick it up.

I studied this book in high school English and enjoyed reading it. We also were shown the film of it. It's in black and white, starring Gary Cooper as Atticus Finch. I don't remember who else was in it, but it was a good adaptation.
