this question will be raised again and again that is better among this three all time gratest cricketers.sachin who is known for his own class and saving india during the time of the crises. lara, i think the most unlucky cricketer but he has been the only one to save the westindian cricket. ponting the hidden dragon, ya thats true suddenly risen in last 2-3 years is in form of his life just 2 centuries away from sachin tendulkar.
so it is most difficult to decide that who is better among the three

Talking about the record both tendulkar and lara are criticized of not winning matches to their teams...this is because of the lack of team performance...also lara has been consistent and agressive recently that has made you feel that lara is better than tendulkar...i don't mean that he is not...but still tendulkar rocks...comparing these two players is difficult but i would choose tendulkar....ok...be it be for his records...

WELL I THINK SACHIN IS BEST THEN THAT BUT I THINK SHAHID AFRIDI IS ALSO COOL AND FASTEST BATS MAN OF THE WORLD AND I THINK HE IS ALSO GOOD BUT SACHIN IS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYER I REALLY LIKE HIM BUT NOW I THINK TIME OF SACHIN OS GONE AND HE IS OUT OF PRACTICE FOR A LONG TIME WELL I HOPE THAT HE WILL COME BACK..AND RICKY PONTNIG IS ALSO BEST BUT I THINK HE NEED SOMETIME TO CROSS SACHIN RECORD WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FINISH. NOW

the question is back again with lots of comments. in my view SACHIN is still the best. as lara has only 1 yr. to play, he can improve his performance. ponting has 7-8 yr. so he is still show how good he is ( we cant comment now on him ). Sachin has shown in every field that he is best. he has records to his name. also he has atleast 5 yr. to play,,,so he can extend his performance

I personally feel that all of them are really outstanding. But i think that sachin is the best in one days, but lara is the king of tests. Though ponting is emerging as the king of king but i feel that he does not has to face the likes of magrath, warne, lee, which definitely helps his cause.

hey shanydft
sachin has his own class.he started it all.
i feel Brian Lara is the best among the three but he is the most unlucky of all as u said.
Ricky pointing is leaping like a horse...though today he is not but he might soon take over evry batsman in this world cricket.he is a great hooker and plays cut shot very well.
