Which is the best Dire Straits' song ever?

The Dire Straits is a great band, I think their best song ever is "Sultans Of Swing". It's amazing!

I have the album live "ALCHEMY"! It's wonderful! I think their best songs are: Private investigation, tunnel of love and romeo and juliet! Take care!

We have all their cd's and most of their original albums. We have the original "Alchemy" album. My fiance has always been a huge fan. My favorite Dire Straits songs are "Lady Writer" and "Calling Elvis". I don't know why, but "Calling Elvis", just makes me feel good, lol.

Six Blade Knife is a great song, not sure of the album, but i know it is on the "From Dusk Till Dawn" soundtrack.

to me it is wild west end from the first album its so evocative, its of the time and place that you first hear it that marks the songs forever
