I've been trying to get some non-fiction articles published for a while now, and a good friend pointed me in the direction of Associated Content, a website that publishes short stories, articles, reviews, etc. I submitted one of my articles for paid publishing, and I was thrilled when it was accepted!
Has anyone else had any luck with Associated Content?

Congrats, loved the article, and I can tell you this, you should do a diary style toryonyour recovery.
Doesnt need to be daily, maybe a weekly/monthly journal, so taht other people who are pasing through what you passed before can know that things arent as bad as they think.
Congrats again!

I found AC a few months ago.
I just had my 3rd article published today and I am trying to write more effectively and more often, with an eye to some other writing sites that have greater income potential. The thing is they are more demanding about format so I have to psyche up to start tackling them. I have joined a few yahoo groups for writers also, so I hope to learn at a greater rate.
Looks like your artcile is getting great reviews! Congrats!!!!!!!

I'm waiting to branch out to the higher paying sites, until I've improved my writing some.
Thank you! :D

I have had a lot of articles posted on Associated Content and if I werent' so addicted to posting here on mylot, I'd get a lot more published. Actually, I can't blame mylot totally but I have not had the motivation to write longa rticles lately for some reason. I know I could make some more money there but I just haven't been able to do it. I really want to get back to it tough!

Congratulations, good luck on your next articles, I wish I could be like you. I think they don't accept non US submissions.

I just joined Associated Content and submitted my first article. I'm still waiting, and hoping. It sounds good though. I'm glad to hear yours was published.

YAAAAY!! Congratulations to you on being published! And what a great article. Dating with a disability is something most of us never think about, and I'm so glad you are bringing this to people's attention. Well done!
I'm also glad to know that AC works. I'm looking for a way to write more often and improve my non-fiction writing skills, and AC looks like a good place to help me out with that.
Congrats, again!! :D

Oh, yes, I've had quite a bit of success at AC ever since a very dear friend of mine told me about the site in October of 2005. I'd probably be making more money there if I wrote exclusively for them, but since I prefer to write reviews at Epinions because they publish articles right away and income accrues on a monthly basis, I don't write too many "high bid" Exclusives at Associated Content.
All in all, I have made a little over $200.00 (I'd have to log in and see the actual amount), not only because I choose to submit non-exclusive material I've written for Epinions and other sites, but because I don't submit there on a regular basis.

I love Ac as well. I wasintroduced to it a few months ago. I have written a few articles and have made about $125 so far. They pay quickly and straight into my paypal account.
I too wish I could focus more time into writing the articles but maybe after the holidays I will get a system together where I could publish more.
Be sure to check out the forums. the people there are so friendly and helpful. I have been introduced to many other writing sites, some I like some I don't. I was even introduced to mylot through the forums there.
They are going through some changes right now whihc are causing some glitches but I think they are a great site and will be around for a long time.
Good Luck on your writing.
