What is your favorite breed of dog and why

My niece wants a dog for Christmas. I am trying to find out the best one to get.

I forgot the name, but I always call them Weiner Dogs...lol. They are extremely friendly and calm. I have one and they never have an attitude so that would be the best dog for your niece in my opinion.
