I have a springer spaniel that is about 2 yrs old. She chews everything!!! My daughter is in love with her and I hate to get rid of the dog but I cant afford replacing everything she destroys!

mamavazquez I wish I could do that but I have to work all day. I get up at 5am and dont get home until 7pm so I eat late and dont have much time or energy by then for exercise

I feel this "trend" (if you can call it that) wearing on me, not to mention my pocket book. Every year it seems that the amount people spend goes up and up. Why do we do this? What happened to making gifts, or giving cookies?...

mamavazquez I think the main reason we do it is that people have come to expect it and we dont want to let anyone down or feel like the one "who only gave christmas cookies" Personally, I like the christmas cookies and fudge

My cousin died Dec. 11 from breast cancer. She knew about it for about 18 months. She kept it hidden from her family and friends for a year, until it was obvious. She never went to a doctor or recieved any treatment for it....

mamavazquez Unfortunately I have lost so many friends to cancer that my kids told me I need to find friends without it! I run a Melanoma Skin Cancer Foundation www.MelanomaSupport.org and so I know many who have past from this deadly disease. I think us cancer survivors...

mamavazquez I think what makes me lonely at christmas is that there is so much joy at this time of year and I see so many happy families. It just makes me realize that I have no one to share it with.
