Are you a single parent?

How many single parents do we have out here? What do you do for fun or to meet people? I dont want to waste my time away from my kids in the bar scene but it is so hard to met people and it gets so overwhelming

I am not a single parent now but I was for two years - the first two years of my daughter's life. I joined a bowling league in the winter time and a softball league in the summer time. I had lots of fun and met a lot of people. It was great to get out of the house and have some fun. You don't have to be good at these sports to participate, and if you do participate you do get better. It's all just for fun anyway. Find something that interests you and sign yourself up. Life is good.
