loving the computers and the internet does not neccessarily make you more intelligent than the next person. but speaking 8 languages and love for politics? well that is impressive and really negate any misimpressions about blondes.but have often wondered why women would want to dye their hair blond when they are well aware of the jokes against them? and are these the women who gave blonds a bad name?

I don't think hair color has to do with it. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Look at Jessica Simpson (oh, bad example), look at Paris Hilton (oops another bad one), what about Pamela Anderson....

No, I don't think blondes are stupid. People, in general, can be pretty stupid so who's to say a HAIR COLOR sets the bar?
However, I DO think some blondes discredit their name. When you say 'Oops! I'm sorry, I had a blonde moment!' it feeds into the stereotype. That, and movies don't set much justice to blonde people either. It's all of what we've collected in media and hype over the years, I suppose...
(Despite me not being a blonde, I can understand where you're coming from. Keep strong, Angelinka!)

I'm really amazed no-one has used this discussion as an excuse to share their blonde jokes. Unfortunately I know far too many blonde people who really do fit with the stereotypes, even the clevers ones do tend to be a bit ditzy, not saying that u r thou of course.

It make me really laugh when people think that u'r Italian =)) We can suppose that there are some people a bit more crazy than blonds=)or we can introduse a blond type of guys=) If u'd say that it is near Russia may be u become more popular =)

Thats why i have changed my details in my profile:)i am not italian,and i am not even russian as you think!:)I came from Lithuania..But so many years i dont live there anymore..For many years i live in Italy,Rome,i speak perfectly italian...But i am lithuanian and very proud to be:)its big advantage for me,because lithuania is the place where all the most beautiful girls in the world are living:)and to understand that its true you got to visit Lithuania:)Once you have been there you will never forget blong blue eyes girls you saw there:)hihih:)

I'm blonde and love it! I think people who say bad things are just jealous because most men prefer blondes and we definitely have more fun! I recently went from having really long really light blonde hair to a bob and now find people take me more seriously. I know i'm not stupid- I have qualifications and am about to go to university so I ignore any anti-blonde comments.

Of coure we are not stupid! The only stupid people are the ones who categorise us as such! I am blonde, and proud of it! When I was younger I used to get upset with all the dumb, blonde, bimbo comments, now I just laugh them off!

No, but some of them play dumb to get attention. LOL My 3 younger sisters are all blondes, they all have their own blonde personalities. None of them are stupid, especially when they can get over on people. Not so much getting over, but using being blonde to take advantage of the DUMB struck guys. LOL
