Try ...try ...try...untill you succeed .This is the secret of achieving new heights in any field, at any given time. The person who develops enough patience in his bad times and believing himself and keeping himself positive throughout will difinitely succeed and if you fail in any of these things, it is very difficult to come out of hard times in life...

Failure is definitely not the end of the road and as you said it is the stepping stone for success. In order for us to be successful in life, we need to go through failures and tough times. That is how I feel and I know that I have had failures but I did not let that get me down. It helped motivate to try harder and focus more on doing better and going for what I want in life. Nobody should ever feel that failure is the end of the road for anything. Great question. :-) Thank you for posting that topic.

Tough times in life are the real facts of life which everybody has to go through and dealing failures is the real tough call for anyone here and one should keep on trying...trying..trying until he succeeds with having too much of patience and keeping his confidence high

Failure is for everybody here and not for any individual.Even if you say no, you got to face that at any cost .The only problem with everybody here is how to cope with failures and each ione will have his say on this issue and the successful one will be the winner here...coping with failures is one of the most diffciult parts of human life..

I don't allow myself to fail. But, if I do happen to fail "once" it's only be beginning.
I am not a quitter on ANYTHING. If I don't succeed the first time, I will die trying. I can't stand to leave something unfinished. And failing at something is simply that. Unfinished.

Even i don't like to leave the things half way.I like to believ in myself and finish off the things to perfection.By the way, i don't agree to your say that you don't allow yourself to fail as faling is not in your control for sure and i think one can reduce his failres but not stopping it completely for sure...don't you also think so?

Is it? but how you feel when in faling....isit hell for you at that time or what? dealing with failures is one of most difficult art, not learnt so easily by anyone....and if you succeed in getting over failure, then it wil be like overcoming the major obstacle of life...isn't it?

You definitely have the right attitude to failure, that it's a stepping stone to success. We should learn from failure, find out what went wrong & then strive to do better the next time!
Unfortunately, not everyone can take failure positively. It's tough.

Yes, as you said i am very optimistic in life and never ever accept failures as failures, instead i take failure as the begining of success. Without failures, no one can succeed and if any one will succeed in the very begining, he will fail later on. So, it is always better to have some failures early in life. What do you say............

Yes.....i stronlgy believ in this...i never feel sorry for failing in life as i am a very hard core optimist and alway's thinking all the failures come to us for achieving double success later on...so, i grow stronger day by day.If you don't have this attitude, develop it, it will help you in long run...

Through mistakes only one hs to learn..just think on this...
can anyone learn swimming without getting into water....no right? so, ne has to learn to accept failures to succeed later. If he fels like succeeding everytime, most of the times, he may be the loser for sure....

every good day makes us happy..
but every bad one adds to our experience..
either way, you still benefit from it, so the best way is to continue living, striving each day to do your best.
It is up to you whether you gain from it. Problems and hurdles either grind us to dust, or polish us into gems...

These lines are not just for noting down in your book....it is something that you have to practice in daily day life....remember one thing in life, nothing comes out easy....one has to set himself on fire most of the times to succeed and go to the pinnacle of success and keeping this agressive attitude only pushes you to the top...

Success Key - Time
"Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you." --Carl Sandburg
While there are those who win lotteries, most of us will have to invest some time in our pursuit of success.
We can look at time, and success, from two points of view. First is the "time" that we put into our endeavors and then there is the "time" that is required for them to grow to fruition.
Let's think about a garden. Just as we are all different and some will want a nice garden of vegetables, another fruit, and yet another flowers, for each gardener to achieve the goal, each will have to invest time to get what they are looking for. Each must take, or make, time to perform regular chores; weeding, mulching, watering, and each must allow time for the natural rhythm of growth to take place.
Just as a seed dropped into the ground does not turn into a tree or a radish overnight, simply setting up a business, exercise program or other process for achieving success is not sufficient. No one would expect to become a champion athlete after one or two practice sessions, nor would any sane person expect to plant a seed and come out the next morning and find a tree. That's only happened once that I know of, and the fellow had to fight a giant as a result.
No one would go in to work at an entry level position and expect to be made president of the company the next day. Yet so often I see people go into business for themselves and quit in frustration a few days or weeks later because they are not making the kind of money they expected or dreamed of making. These are the same people who realize and understand that "success" in a business would require that they show up for work each day, "put in their time", and work their way up the ladder "over time".
Success in any other endeavor is exactly the same. Once the goal has been set, steps towards that goal must be identified and then performed. Just as a crop may fail, or one or two of the bushes we have planted may die, some of the steps we take along the way may not seem to be successful. However, it is the ability and willingness to keep planting, watering, mulching, and weeding that will produce the garden of our dreams.
At the same time, no matter how many hours of the day or days of the week we attend that garden, it will have to grow at its own pace. Just as with a garden, doing the right things in the right way at the right time may make our garden grow to its finest state faster than it would if we skip or miss a step due to laziness or ignorance. Most of us being human will make mistakes or have our moments of weakness when it seems that we have moved farther away from our ultimate objective. At those moments, we must return to the basic formula of success. Do our chores and let nature take its course.
"The great French Marshall Lyautey once asked his gardener to plant a tree. The gardener objected that the tree was slow growing and would not reach maturity for 100 years. The Marshall replied, 'In that case, there is no time to lose; plant it this afternoon!'" --John F. Kennedy

Thank you for all those valuable information you have given above. Some people have all the luck and they are the one's who never ever depend on it...isn't it? do you also think so?
you will have to work hard and luck will follow the brave we say......we should not be worried about any failures which will come in our life every now and then and we have to be very positive to succeed in life without feeling down on these failures....
Anyway, thanks for responding

failure is not the end of the road.i myself have experinced it when i failed miserably in my 2nd year of engineering and then faught back with new strength and finally passed with flying colours in my final year of engineering.the person has only to keep on fighting in life in spite of adverse circumstances.the results will be invariably good.

First of all, congratulations for your achievement.Any one will feel happy seeing your success and your parents might have been very happy....isn't it?
Getting motivated when you are really down is very very difficult and moreover believing in yourself to achieve that success, you need to have enough patience.

It is just a beginning of a new found success. We all fail but the most important thing is we rise up and learn from it so we could achieve something better and learn from it.

Well said...it is definitely th ebegining of success. One should fail...otherwise, how he will learn..experience is not got by reading books.Experience is what we learn through our mistakes isn't it? so, whatever we have to learn, we got to learn through failures.....i believ in this..what do you say?

i think it's actually good to fail...we became stronger, trying to pick ourself up. and by failing, we can learn not to repeat the same mistake again and be wiser and try to succeed in it

He...exactly....you seems to be talking on my line...good.I like to fail first before succeeding later...isn't it?
"Failures are the stepping stone for success " and without failing , we won't even learn.....isn't it? opportunties won't go anywhere, those you miss will be taken by others.. so, be positive when you fail and expect big success whenever you fail...

Yeah. One should never feel let down if they fail in anything ,any time in their life.Instead, keep a positive approach and move forward just because life provides enough opportunities to everyone, every now and then. So, grab the opportunity when it comes and have patience till then.

Success may mean:
a level of social status
achievement of a objective/goal
the opposite of failure
But they always say that failures are the pillars of success

Yes..well said...failures are pillars of success and i take it as failres are stepping stone for success..so, according to me, to succeed, one should fail. One cannot straight away succeed and stay there for ever without failing isn't it? Infact,i alway's believed in having some failures early in life is alway's better..what do you say now.....

Yes...you are absolutely right. As i alway's agree to one point, experience is the name given to what you learn through your own mistakes...isn't it? taking failures happily and overcoming that with ultimate hope and confidence in you requires lot of patience also..isn't it?
