Ever see a uncoordinated cat?

I never thought it was possible. I thought that all cats were graceful. We have two cats (sister and brother) that are rather uncoordinated. A lot of times when they go to jump up on something they miss. It's strange. Hubby thinks that they need glasses. Can't you just see them at the optomitrist...? meow one time if you thing A is better, meow twice if the second one is better..........

My cat is the sme way. I ahve had cats in the past that were more graceful than the cat I have now. My cat is always running into things and when he tries to jump up on things he always only gets half his body on the window or whatever he jumping on. My husband always says it is our cat's big butt he can't get the rest of it up.

Cat - Cat
My last cat we swear he had a mental issue....We knew everything he ran around the corner for he would hit the cold air vent....and when he ran down the stairs he usually forgot to stop and slammed into the wall. He also enjoy TV, we caught him flipping channels. It is because they don't have much parental training and they tend to mock fellow roomies they are probably copying each over......here is a funny cat video you may like. http://www.rivelazioni.com/cgi-bin/mm/video.pl?id=38

That's funny. I never thought that it was possible. I use to have a blind cat and even he managed to be graceful somehow LOL

I know, I always thought all cats were graceful but not these two. And like someone else said, they are always knocking things over. My husband likes them, but pretends not to. The one thing he complains about a lot is the knocking things over.

no, I haven't ever seen an uncoordinated cat. Get out your video camera, tape them in their uncoordinated glory and send to America's Funniest Videos. They might as well get their 15 secs of fame for their uniqueness.

After, I posted I read about other uncoordinated cats, lol. Perhaps it is I would should video tape my cats and enter them in for America's Funniest Videos. My cats are outdoor cats and don't have much to knock over. They might be knocking stuff over in the barn, who knows? However, they are ever so graceful walking across the railings and pouncing on the occasional leaf and eachother. While I like dogs better, I find cats pretty fascinating to watch also.

If cats are graceful they sure didn't tell my cats. We have 11 in the house right now with my brother's cat staying with us. They are always knocking something over. Just earlier they knocked over the one phone and unplugged it in the process. You are not alone. I think the cats enjoy it sometimes to see us run to pick things up and put them back. Just like a baby with dropping things...lets see how long till mommy picks it up. Half the time as soon as I put it back they try to knock it over again. Got to love them right?

Wow, that is a lot of cats. I hate to think how often you have to be changing the litter box, or how much litter you must use. I like the cats, but am not so fond of changing the litterbox. Glad to see you like them!

Hi! Oh, yes, we have had klutzy cats! Ginger used to run so fast her eyes couldn't process where she was going and she would run into a wall! Sometimes our cats would fall running UP the stairs! More than likely their claws got caught in the carpet! I love cats. I have had them all my life and I can't imagine being without a cat! :-)

I know what you mean my cats are sometimes so uncoordinated that I can't quit laughing. Sometimes my cat misses what she is going to jump up on. Cats are so funny sometimes.

2 things can cause a cat to be uncooridinated, one is there eyes, if they have bad vision they act really clumsy. And 2 ticks in the ears, this will cause a cat to loose its ballance and throws there judgment off. It really is something that you may want to have a vet look at, if it is ear ticks it can kill them.

clumsy kitty - cartoon of a clumsy kitty like the discussion we were having of our graceful and not so graceful cat companions.
when I was growing up somehow a board or something hit one of our kitties in the head. His head stayed canted to the side and he adjusted and walked around, just amazing. The vet looked him over and said that he would be fine as is.. Now our cats now are usually graceful, although one of them has odd eyes..probably inbreeding fromt he intoxicated gentleman we got him and his brother from and they were too young. He hunts differently and mostly does not catch things. He looks at things differently too..it is obvious. He often misses the area he tries to jump too also..We love them all!

I have three cats and two of them are coordinated just fine but the other one is not. She is afraid to jump from somewhere high. I think it is due to the fact she is overweight. I dont know!

sometimes cats are just being playful or too playful that's why they knock things over and seem uncoordinated :)
