generally when asked whos funniest people respond stewie or brian so i saved the time and made it one or the other i pick brian an alcholic talking dog what could be better

There is no question about it. Stewie is deffinatly the better character. Brian is just there to attempt to make stewie and peter look good but they look just as good without him. I don't think many people would miss brian if he was no longer to be put into the show.

stewie is funnier but brian is funny to just not as much as stewie.
its best when stewie and brian have ago at each other lol but they have kinda spoilt it now coz they both get on in the new series.

Hummm.... they are both great. Brian who says what is on his mind, and is always funny.. for Stewie the evil little baby that you can't help but love. I would have to say Stewie, but it is a very close race. Brian is a definate second!!!

I think Stewie and Brian are two supporting characters that need eachother to reach a certain level of comedy. Although brian can be pretty damn funny on his own as well as stewie. They make a good comedic team.
