I really liked Peter Falk in this show. I miss it. I always thought it was funny how he put it all together somehow.

Columbo - detective extra-ordinary, rumpled, rough, absent minded not, entertaining for the time and at timeless classic
Columbo was a great show and worth renting to see again. The rumpled seeming scatter brained man was brilliant in solving the crimes. People fell for him and became too confident and gave away their wrongs. Never saw much of a wife and would have been a good addition mixed in from time to time, they decided to keep him widowed after a time I think.

No you never did see much of his wife. Although he did mention her in nearly every episode. Sometimes he mentioned a brother in law too.

I liked Columbo also. However, I don't watch that type of thing unless my hubby turns it on. He seems to like to watch shows with a faster pace. So I doubt even if it was still on that he would watch it. Maybe we can catch a few reruns sometime.

Well, not everyone loved Columbo. I liked it cus it was like he thought it all out in his head. It was so predictable at times.

I remember watching Columbo. It was an interesting show. My mom was a big fan too. And that just reminded me of another show I used to watch...MacMillen and Wife. Do you remember that one?

I remember Columbo. I'll have to say, he got on my nerves. I would have hated to be the bad guy with him around.

I've seen ALL the episodes of Columbo. His strategy is really funny. Also the character (but not the actor ?) is from Italy so I can relate with him better.

Yes, I do remember that show. It was one of my favorite of that time. What I liked most about it is how most of the people he tried to investigate just wrote him off a some stupid , bumbling idiot. I like how he played into that, and then at the end he caught them with his genius.
