How much does the little man in the washer or dryer get paid?

It never fails. I know I will put pairs of socks in the washer or the dryer and I only get one out. Why is this? I seem to buy socks all the time because I can never match socks. What do you do to keep the socks together? Do you know what happens to the socks? Am I the only one with this problem?

There are little sock monsters that steal your socks while you are sleeping...so it isn't that they got lost in the wash, they were gone before they got there. And I believe that they only like to take one, they don't care to much for pairs unless there is a big family of them.
And so you know, remember when you were a child and your toys just "magically" disappeared...yep, you guessed it...the little monsters again. They would wait until you were fast asleep and grab your favorite toy and pull it under the bed with them and they would disappear. If you have any other questions about these little monsters let me know, I have researched them my whole life and could tell you things about them that would make you cringe.

So it stands to reason that there is a pen monster as well! Pens ALWAYS go missing...and there's no logical explanation behind it because when you move house, yes you do find a few pens under things and behind things, but never enough to make up for all those ones that you lost over the years! lol

Exactly! If you listen carefully at night sometimes you can hear their little feet as they are running with your things, them little buggers!

I make sure I get my pairs back, they're usually stuck somewhere inside the machine. I always look inside to make sure I got them all.

Mine are constantly disappearing in exactly the same way! lol I think it's the same theory as the Bic pens...somewhere, who knows where, there is this HUGE stash of Bic pens and odd socks... =)
