What are the factors you consider in determining the ideal number of kids?

Economic factors are important in determining the number of kids to have But i think it really depends on you. I had two which was good for us. I would have like to have at least had one more but my health wouldn't allow it. But when I really think about it two is enough really. I don't think it would have been wise to have another child not just for the expense but for other factors as well.

Economics definitely play a big part of it these days. It's also a compromise between spouses in some situations. I personally want 3 kids probably because that's how many were in my family and I had a great childhood. I think the number of kids in a person's own family can impact how many they want to have.
