What was it all about? Is it a gay themed movie? Have you ever watched Total Eclipse where Leonardo Di Caprio played a gay role?

If you want a gay series then Qu££r As Folk is pretty good, they did two series one in the UK one in America I believe, it had some good actors in it and the storyline wasn't bad at all, I liked the music that accompanied the series.
A lot of people go mad on the film Brokeback Mountain about cowboys falling in love, I actually fell asleep when I watched this.

Hi! I saw the movie "Flawless" and really liked it. I have to warn you, though, there's a lot of harsh language if that bothers you, but it teaches a very good message about tolerance and friendship. It stars Robert DeNiro and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I like The L Word, Qu*er as Folk, and as far as movies: Brokeback Mountain, Boys Don't Cry, that one French movie about the guy who pretends to be gay and he isn't, I think that's called "Le Placard" or something.
I've been looking for more gay movies to watch, so great thread! I was just about to start one to ask for recommendations when I came upon this thread.
Brokeback Mountain and Boys Don't Cry are both really sad movies. The other one is kind of funny.

A little-known but very good movie with a gay theme is: Gypsy 83 - wo young misfits head for New York City to celebrate their idol and muse, Stevie Nicks, at The Night of 1,000 Stevies. Kett Tuton plays a young man struggling to come to grips with his sexuality. It's kind of artsy, kind of surreal, and just a really interesting movie.

Well I happen to enjoy Too Wong Foo thanks For Everything Julie Newmar. Very good movie with Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes. I also enjoyed The Birdcage with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. The Wedding Wars, a recent movie by A&E that stars John Stamos was also very good. I have heard Torch Song Trilogy is good but I haven't seen it.
I do know in the series Six Feet Under the one brother is in a homosexual releationship. I know there are others but right now I'm drawing a blank on any more.

Sure, the Brokeback Mountain directed by Li an, which wins the OSCAR . There are also other three movies on this theme directed by Li an ,but I don't how to express the name in english.^_^. All the three movies come down to the gay issues in Chinese familly.

Brokeback Mountain is EXCELLENT. its a very true portrayal of Gay men in the 1960s and 70s in an era where you could be killed for publicly admitting you are gay. Its also a good love story about how two gay men managed to keep their relationship together for all those years while maintaining their marriages with women.
